My approach to how products are interpreted and presented across different contexts and brands.

BOLD!
Client: Coloniera
In this photo-session, the goal was to build presence.
The beer has body. Weight. Character. That’s why the image had to do it justice.
I didn’t have my lighting equipment with me that night, so I worked with what I had handy: an iPad screen became my light source. The light passing through the beer was shaped using the flash of my phone and a long exposure.
The shadows are intentional. The contrast is deliberate. If the beer felt bold in taste, it had to feel bold in the image as well.
The brewer later integrated the photographs into the brand’s communication.
HONEY! (I’m Home)
Client: Miel Bosque Alto
Miel Bosque Alto does not rely on sophistication. Its value is already in its purity. For the client, that was non-negotiable. The challenge was to avoid any perception of industrialization and make that purity unmistakable through visible craftsmanship.
Placed in a tangible, familiar setting, the Honey feels grounded and real. Warm light and visible texture support that intention.
Before deciding how to light a product, I think about what needs to be protected.
